Mansha'Allah what a great story of hope. I'm trully happy for you La Taya and I ask Allah sw that he protects and keeps guiding you to the right path forever and always. It's inspiring that you have defeated your struggle with alcahol...it gives me hope personally because my brother who I love dearly is struggling with Alcohol and drugs. There are a lot of times when the entire family almost loses hope and we just want to give up on him. It's so hard and depressing to see how much someone close to you struggles with such disgusting things like alcahol and drugs but not have the power to make them just stop. To hear your story gives me so much hope and encouragement. I ask you and all other Muslims to pray for my brother and those who are on the wrong path and those who are struggling with inner demons and temptations...Insha'Allah one day I hope to see my brother say that he cannot even stand the smell of alcahol. It so hard to change when your so comfortable.However, when you know that you have to make this change, you will strive and do all that it takes to make your change,and reach that goal. So, you can take it one day at a time and sooner the later your almost there.Therefore, it's that much closer then your starting distance.
