Spreading Their Stories Drive

This drive is phase one of a million dollars campaign.

The challenge is how to turn your pleasant words into a million dollar for http://www.edhifoundation.com/ through ReliefWorks Canada [Disclaimer: HalfDate stays away from divisive topics including music].

Goal: We want to collect 50 comments from committed volunteers (who pledge to help publicizing phase 2 of this campaign)

Deadline: Aug 22, 2009

Here is how:

  1. Look at these children for 30 seconds and imagine them as your children
  2. Close your eyes for 30 seconds and imagine that on the Day of Judgement, Allah will forgive all of your sins just because you helped these children
  3. Now, type what you did for them to earn Allah’s pleasure (e.g. I told all my friends and we raised $1000 for them). Click here to type.

If you want to join the volunteer group of this project send an empty email to sadaqahgate at gmail dot com (this is an autoresponse email, so don’t send anything personal)

subhan Allah…this video really made me realize that how unfear it when in one part of the world or even in one house children are spoiled because they are expose to sooooo many things only their negligent parents and on the other part of the world or even in the very next house children are deprived of soooo many things and they are happy even when they are been given on ice cube……we muslims should be more charitable than any one else but really we are losing this habbit…jazakum Allah khair for creating this sites in order to revive this habbit of ours….we should always strive to be the hands who gives all the time not the hands which always expects to receive something without any effort….

SubHanAllah…I will spread this URL, and inshaAllah put the URL on my MySpace, to help spread the message. InshaAllah, when my money is better, I will donate for this/other causes. May Allah swt bless these children and others in poor situations, and may Allah swt protect us and our families from such circumstances. May we increase in iman and in our good deeds for the sake of Allah swt, not for show.

    RAMADAN MUBARAK

May Allah swt accept our fast and prayers, and continue to guide us and keep us on the Right Path, that inshaAllah, we may reach Jennah.

    Ameen
