Salam alaikum,
The Power of Dua is amazing. There is nothing that Allah does not give to his servants, if he ask for it sincerely.
There are 3 potential benefit of dua:
1. You might not get what you want in this life but Allah accepts it in the hereafter
2. You are granted your dua in this world
3. Your dua is not granted but it Prevents bad things from happeing
We often do not compare ourselves to the less fortunate but those in higher tax ‘bracket’. Compare to “Half of the world nearly three billion people, live on less than $2 a day”. Alhamdulillah many of us are living Very comfortably.
So let make dua everytime me make on for ourselves for the less fortunate.
