Our newest drive will focus on Healing Hearts, insha’Allah. Sometimes in life, we face hardship and are struck with calamity after calamity, thus leading to feelings of despair, grief and sadness. With this drive, we are hoping to bring happiness, even if it’s with simple words, to the hearts of all believers.
Here are some stories that inspired us to start this drive:
1) Year of Pain for a Sister
This Sister lost both of her parents this year. Her mom passed away a week ago and her father passed away in January. We did a drive on his behalf. This Sister also encountered other difficulties and was tested by Allah (SWT). We ask Allah to make affairs easy for her, ameen
2) A Heartbreaking Message We Received from Youtube From An Anonymous Muslim:
“I need advice please. I really wanted to get married to a family friend of mine, he was also interested but my auntie interfered and made stories up about us so he distanced himself. He has now married another girl recently. I cant think of marrying anyone else but him. I prayed and prayed but nothing happened. mum n dad kept arguing about our marriage as they have 3 daughters to marry, I got really desperate and decided to do [----something haram---] to make the guy fall in love with me and leave his wife. I spoke to this person who does [----haram thing---] through emails and he told me he can help me and that u have to pay him 400 dollars and he will do it and the effect will be within 10 days. Past few weeks I spoke to the person who was going to do it. But then I decided that i didn’t as I know its the biggest sin and that less chances of Allah forgiving me if I did it. So I didn’t send the money and I am not going to do it now. But will I still get sins to have thought about doing it?? I was really desperate and didn’t know what else to do. But I only thought about it and spoke about it but didn’t do it. Will i still get the biggest sins? Please reply back and let me know.”
3) Brother Facing Hard Times
Our Brother had several calamities happen right after each other. Although, he finished with his medical school, he didn’t get his medical license thus leading to his divorce and then he got into an accident. Furthermore, he was unable to pay back a loan (from HalfDaters) that was approximately $3,000. At the moment, we are unaware of his conditon; he is need of our duaas and support.
4) Troubled Brother
This brother who has problems at his work. He suffers from ADD/ADHA and is also experiencing problems at work and other areas. May Allah grant him the ability to pass his tests, ameen

Dua for Muslim Brother/Sister in their Absence:
In Saheeh Muslim and Sunan Ibn Majah, it is narrated from Abu Darda that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said, ‘The Dua of a person for his Muslim brother in his absence will be answered. At his head there is an angel, and every time he prays for him for something good, the angel who has been appointed to be with him, says, ‘Ameen, may you have likewise.’
Rewards of Reliving Distress of Others:
On the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said:
“Whosoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Judgment. Whosoever alleviates [the lot of] a needy person, Allah will alleviate [his lot] in this world and the next. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the next. Allah will aid a servant [of His] so long as the servant aids his brother. [Muslim]
